Tasting Notes

Nose: Orange and grapefruit combining with dark chocolate, along with antique oak and wood spices, fig and poached pear — an inviting and layered opening that immediately signals the age of the spirit.

Palate: Full-bodied, sweet and slightly oily. Warm spices — ginger, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg — with citrus and chocolate giving structure, and leather and rich fruit developing in the mid-palate. The cask selection is exceptional: everything is integrated, nothing jars.

Finish: Long, elegant and warming — the aged sherry oak and dried fruit holding on across a slow, dignified close.
