From an unblended cask of 26 year old Strathmill, distilled on the 14th May 1974 and bottled as part of the First Cask Series from Direct Wines Ltd who released some outstanding and rare bottles quarterly for a period in the early 2000’s.
Today it is most rare to find a single malt from Strathmill as most goes into the J&B blend. A single cask malt is even rarer.
