Port Dundas Grain Whisky bottled by Douglas Laing in the Old Particular range of whiskies. Aged 11 years and is one of 840 bottles drawn from a single refill barrel (Ref ; DL1224).
This Single Grain Whisky from the now closed Port Dundas Distillery.
Distilled July 2004 and bottled April 2016.
Tasting Notes: Nose :
Aromatic with mixed sweet herbs, soft spices, coffee and toffee flavours.
Palate :
Coats the mouth ever so sweetly with vanilla, cappuccino and maple syrup.
Finish :
Now hints of citrus with more definite and piquant spices, plus butterscotch
