Mortlach 20 Year Old Cowie’s Blue Seal
Mortlach 20 Year Old Cowie’s Blue Seal
Mortlach 20 Year Old Cowie’s Blue Seal is the “elegant oldie” in Mortlach’s core range, taking the distillery’s famously weighty, meaty Speyside character and presenting it in a more refined, contemplative style. Matured solely in sherry casks, it’s built around dark fruit richness and polished oak, with that unmistakable Mortlach savoury edge sitting underneath rather than shouting over everything.

Why This Bottle Is Worth Bidding On
- A fully sherry-matured 20-year-old Mortlach that leans into depth and complexity without losing balance.
- Strong “sit with it” whisky: it evolves in the glass and rewards slow drinking, which is exactly what many buyers want from a 20-year-old sherried Speysider.
- A smart pick for fans of mature sherry character who also enjoy Mortlach’s signature oily, savoury undertone.
