Tasting Notes

Nose: Waxed fruit — green apple and pear drops — with lanolin, dry hay, a faint soapiness and light vanilla. Fresh barley developing with time.

Palate: Full cask-strength arrival, then lemon grass, dried herbs, malt biscuit and gentle orchard fruit sweetness. Remarkably fresh for its age.

Finish: Long, drying, slightly mineral — cereal and a trace of white pepper lingering. Clean and satisfying.
