Macallan Rare Cask is a limited-edition Speyside single malt whisky produced at the Macallan Distillery in Craigellachie, Scotland. The Rare Cask series seeks to showcase two defining characteristics of The Macallan single malt whisky. Sherry-seasoned casks and natural colour. This 2022 release is made up of whiskies from American and ex-Sherry European oak casks (a high proportion of which were first-fill) that were specially selected for their sweet raisin character and rich, smooth complexity.
