Macallan Edition No 2 is a limited-edition Speyside single malt whisky produced at the Macallan Distillery. The Macallan Edition No 2 was originally released in 2016. It is the second release in The Macallan Edition series, which showcases the distillery`s commitment to exceptional oak casks and creative collaborations. This edition is a result of a collaboration between Macallan`s Master Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno, and the Roca brothers, renowned chefs from El Celler de Can Roca restaurant in Bilbao. The whisky was matured in seven oak cask types from four different Sherry bodegas. Vasyma, Diego Martin, Jose Miguel Martin, and Tevasa. Expect a rich and rich complex dram with notes of dried fruits, spices and a touch of smoke.
