Distilled in 1996 and matured in American Oak and Sherry Casks. Kininvie Distillery first opened in July 1990 by Jane Sheed-Roberts, Granddaughter of William Grant. It has remained a treasured secret, known only by a few.
Nose : Rich and full of aroma with fresh fruit notes together with a deep vanilla sweetness. Uniquely fragrant with a characteristic floral note that is accentuated through the addition of a little water. Palate : Beautifully sweet, buttery vanilla and slightly spicy. Finish : Long and lingering with a notable sweetness.
